Dubai is a vision risen from the sand. Architects created adventurous designs that command the space around them; the surrounding desert has no opinion. I show in this series the urban environment of Dubai and pairs of buildings that complement each other and/or their neighborhood space. Long exposures perceive the passage of time and the tacit agreement that all one day may return to the sand.
