Magma Magazine is a self-produced, independent, Magazine about Photography and Visual Culture, based in Italy, created by Vincent Moro and Aurora Giampaoli. The selected photos portray people on the streets of a small Italian town at the time of the Pandemic. The scenes depict human figures under harsh sunlight, emerging from the darkness, recalling the Chiaroscuro painting style. While the Cover image belongs to the series "Next Door Criminals", about our perception of different minded people or people with different views from ours, often perceived as threats, and criminalized by the media.
