Idea for this shoot is based on the “Paris is burning” documentary. It is my love letter to the world of music and fashion, and my language is photography. I’m 80’s kid who lived through the 90’s and still reminiscing about the fashion and club scene from back then. Colours, different fabrics and textures, hair and make-up and creativity. All that went to a one ‘going out look’ and clubs were the real runway. ‘Rave’ is my nod to the club scene which still (at heart) is big part of my life.

Karolina is a Polish photographer and a creative art director. Specialising in fashion editorial, portrait and corporate photography. Her work has been published in titles such as VogueItalia, Schön!, Flanelle, Hedonist, 33Magazine. Her corporate client list includes BAFTA, Shell, Harrods, Selfridges, River Island as well as number of independent fashion and jewellery designers. She shares her time between London and Lisbon.
