It's an understatement to say getting to Toroweap point is challenging. Being one of the most remote places in the Southwest and 60 miles away from the nearest highway, it takes cautious navigation through gravel, mud, and sharp rocks to reach it. Standing 3000ft above the Colorado river and witnessing an approaching monsoon storm lit up by the sunset makes the effort totally worth it.
