Vanishing storefronts provide a visual connection to a neighborhood’s history and sense of place. I have selected several storefronts from my series on Vanishing Storefronts in New York City that reflect the character and sense of history of their neighborhoods.

Elizabeth is a fine art photographer based in New York City specializing in architecture, street and landscape photography. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and studied commercial photography at LaGuardia Community College. Inspired by her desire to discover places with a strong sense of place, Elizabeth has photographed iconic scenes along Route 66, the coastal and small town beauty of Long Island’s East End, architectural treasures in the urban landscape, and vanishing storefronts in New York City. Her work has been part of domestic and international gallery shows.
