When I first drove by Bahia Honda on a highway I found it interesting to see a bridge that doesn't touch the land on either side and it looks majestic just in the middle of the waters. After watching the "Modern Marvels" episode about Oversea Highway on History channel I realized that the Bahia Honda Bridge was the most challenging part of the whole project because of deeper waters and high currents. Now it is an iconic piece of the history about Florida Keys, something that was called "the highway to Paradise" at that time.

I am a landscape photographer, originally from the Republic of Moldova. After my graduation in Psychology, I started working in the Human Resource department for a financial company. At that moment I started to take pictures been inspired by the beauty that the surrounding nature could offer to us; that activity was a great escape from a daily routine. When I came in Key West, my photography journey became more fascinating, as I was surrounded by the ocean and water become mostly present in my photography as the subject, often combined with the human activity elements.
