“Pour a little sugar on it…” is a repeating verse in the 1969 pop song “Sugar, Sugar”. Most people have a sweet tooth and sugar has long been a beloved staple in our diet. The mills work 24/7 during the respective season of the cane or the sugar beet. The off-season is dedicated to repair works.
