I photographed the walls of buildings and the slice between buildings as if they lasted forever. Ginza in Tokyo is a city of great scale and makes me proud to be Japanese. I expressed the heat of Ginza with man of similar colors that seemed to emerge from heated steel. In order to make the gap appear as if it would go on forever, I shot from a low angle, taking advantage of the perspective of a wide-angle lens. I took many shots by studying the time of day when there was little light reflecting off the walls. I hope you can feel the silence and heat that coexist in the scale of the city.
