This year (2020), Taiwan Lantern Festival is running into its 31st year. The festival is a big event and was celebrated throughout the island at different times in February by different cities. The host of this year's festival is Taichung city. Each year, the lantern festival is bringing innovation to the next level. The activities during the Lantern Festival are diverse; it is a combination of lighting aesthetics, installation art, drone shows, tradition, technology, acrobatics, the concept of ecological sustainability, live music, and live performance.

I consider myself visual and multicultural. Currently, I live in Taipei, Taiwan, I have lived in the US for about 25 years in the past. My years living in or traveling to different countries gave me multicultural perspectives, experienced numerous aesthetics, and helped me explore the world with an open mind. My interest in photography is broad, ranging from sports, drones, landscapes, events, portraits, wildlife photography, astrophotography, etc. to photo post-processing.
