These photos were taken last year in Japan in autumn. You can see different temples in Kyoto and in Nikko National Park. The pictures were taken freehand, because taking pictures with a tripod is prohibited. The photos should show both architecture and the Japanese gardens in autumn. I love this architecture, this peace and quiet and the spiritual power that these buildings have. These temples and grounds are up to 700 years old and were home to many monks, priests and shoguns. Japan is a wonderful country with a remarkable culture!

For me, landscape photography means experiencing nature with all my senses. In my work, I try to capture these natural beauties and lend duration to the moment. In doing so, I want to draw the viewer into the picture with my photos. Of course I would like to present my photographic works and share them with you. I would be pleased to have you visit my website! www.andre-wandrei.ch
