Woman in Orange In my photography dreams and the unseen have always been an inspiration. Through many years I have worked with photographs of what I call “the Unseen”. It is about seeing. In lights and shadows, at a wall where the painting peels off, in mirrors, in the reflections of a lake in a forest, images unfold and tell a story.

Shazia Khan was born in Denmark. She is a trained commercial photographer and storyteller. Lately her focus has been on stories from Mexcio, Pakistan and Denmark.Her work ranges from feature portrait stories to more abstract photoseries. Her work has been shown at numerous exhibitions and been published by the largest Danish newspaper, Al Jazeera and in books and magazines. In 2020 she was awarded Honorable Mentions in the International Photo Competition PX3 in Paris, and in Tokyo Photo Awards. In 2023 she was awarded Silver in the International Photo Competition PX3 in Paris.
