Mackay was the first Presbyterian missionary to northern Taiwan. He was born in Canada and came to Taiwan in 1871. At first he was not accepted by the indigenous people in Taiwan. He was even severely persecuted by them. After a lot of efforts, Mackay got along with them quite well. He even got married with an indigenous woman to build his family in Taiwan. He burned out himself and contributed a lot in Taiwan. These photos showed a stage drama mainly played by disable children who belong to an NGO, Family of Joy.

My teaching courses are Statistics, Economics, etc. at the Graduate Institute of Sport, Leisure, and Hospitality Management, of NTNU. I took photos since 40 years ago when I was a university student. For about 10 years I have shifted my tool to the digital camera. Campus sceneries, lives and activities are objects which I like to photo.
