Taken during a surf trip to Troncones, Mexico. I saw this thunder storm forming from my room and ran down to the beach. I set the exposure to 1.6 seconds and then just locked the shutter release down to shoot continuously. I took about 400 shots to get this strike and unfortunately I missed a much more dramatic strike while my camera was buffering.
