Is a self-portrait of an artist a medium of reflection? Introspection, dealing with ourselves and our inner feelings is the path to cognition of our inner world. The way we experience ourselves is often seen in the way we present ourselves to others through various media.As a self-portrait artist, I experience introspection as a favorite discipline and a way to get to know ourselves better and resolve many mental and emotional dilemmas. Like Frida Kahlo said:"I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best."

Biljana Radojicic, born in Belgrade, Serbia, is a self- taught and an Award-Winning photographer who has always been passionate about art, life and beauty in every form. She always has been inspired by the female body and faces and carries this inspiration out in her captivating self-portraits in which she plays very different roles. Woman, as well as her emotional nature, have always been in her research focus. Inner life, interpersonal relations, are an eternal inspiration for her.
