This is a photo-story of one Ukrainian girl, whose family was displaced twice from their place of born due to the Russian intervention and full-scale war beginning in Ukraine. Firstly, in 2014, being 6 years old the girl lost her place of born (Donetsk city), having moved from Eastern Ukraine to Kyiv. Secondly, in 2022 she lost her country, her beloved Grandfather who died suddenly. She lost her friends and her house. Escaping from bombs and missiles in Ukraine she was displaced to Valencia, Spain. Constantly losing a home and constantly looking for new one…

Irina was born in Donetsk, Ukraine in 1981. Due to the war beginning in Ukraine, she was obliged to move firstly to Kyiv in 2014, and then to Valencia, Spain in 2022. An economist by profession, Irina was always passionate about art, photography and handmade, but she found her professional calling in visual art only after moving to Spain. Irina works across photography and collage. She is an active participant of international photography exhibitions and photography awards. Together with other photographers her works were published in the book “100 Contemporary Ukrainian Photographers”.
