Plastics are everywhere in agriculture. Macroplastics are used as protective coatings for coverings and forages. They cover greenhouses and protect crops from the elements. They are used in tubes, bags, boxes, etc... According to a new report from the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), plastics have been accumulating in the world's soil at a worrying rate.
