`Building A Temporary Home`

I created series `Building a temporary home` in Amsterdam, where I am temporarily staying with my children due to the war in Ukraine. They started building their temporary "home" in the rented apartment. I convey the experiences and emotions of this difficult period through my still lifes. Forced changes, complex experiences of children and their own, the search for balance and supports, longing for the homeland - in the following still lifes. I continue working on this series, using untraditional ways of photography as collage and scanography. I am continuing to work on this series now.

I live and work in Kyiv. Studied in the `Kyiv School of Photography` In a year of learning, I developed expertise and discovered a fascinating world of art photography. I was studying aesthetics and composition under the mentorship of a renowned Ukrainian photographer and art expert - Dimitri Bogachyk. Photography for me is one of the ways of self-expression. It is full of freedom to express, create and inspire. It is as a way to capture a moment, embrace it with my vision and evoke deep emotions in the viewers and allow them to feel the harmony within the scene.
