Women's boxing matches are prohibited in Iran. In recent years, many women have been playing this sport underground (unofficially). Most of them train individually in non-specialized sports spaces such as open spaces around the city, inside houses, secluded places, etc., and even to hold an informal match with their own money, they have to wait for their opponent for months. And sometimes they travel to another city to hold an unofficial competition. Some of them use social networks with foreign coaches and athletes to improve their sport.

I have been working as a photojournalist for 28 years at IRNA news agency in Iran. And I have also cooperated with the international press. I also teach photography as a lecturer in Iranian universities and have been sent to more than 40 countries for news coverage.
