These photos refer to a particular emotional state. I explore these desert-like places, usually volcanic, and experience the physical and mental isolation from social life. They depict a fantastic energy, which is often barely visible, because the desolation is more obvious! However, the chaos of the depths of the earth allows deep and superficial modeling ; the creation of places conducive to the development of life and lives.I see a parallel there with the artist : creativity is present in his inner tumult . Telluric landscapes are harbingers of an upheaval and human can fell it.

Born in the suburb of Paris in 1976, Marie Debitus studied fashion and graphic design and has been graduated from the Ecole Supérieure Duperré et des Gobelins (France). Still life photographer, her attraction for this art growing, she trained in fine art and commercial photography at the Spéos photography school in 2022 and 2023. Also, in September, she participated in training on "intimate photography" with Antoine D'Agata. As an artist, her interest is “the fantastic in the ordinary", she considers little things even waste is alive, and that human beings are linked with things and nature.
