Impression Studies

"Impression Studies" is a series of image practice that attempts to capture the pure light and colors in everyday scenery and the "impressions" they evoke. Light, revealed through the colors and shading, forms the volume of color, and the overlap and gradient between them. They are composed to invoke "impression". By making the photo out of focus, removing details and textures, blurring the boundaries between things, I tried to depict the scenes like impressionist painters- walking into the city, and capture the colors of light that constantly allure me. This is my "Impression Studies".

Juang Mu-En is a photographer from Taiwan, he always tries to explore the deeper places of the city.
