I produced this series of self-portraits materializing what I feel. I express myself through images, during the pandemic I went through three bereavements that were very difficult for me. Currently, in 2023, I am in the healing process, I work with elements of nature, which give meaning to my art and my soul. In addition to digital photography, I worked on the same project with an analog camera, it is a representation of my process of personal love and inner healing. The self-portrait made me find a way to understand my peace and connection with the divine, the sea represents my rebirth.

Mabru Rodrigues is a Brazilian photographer and visual artist. As a self-taught photographer, she seeks through her projects to dialogue about the importance of diversity of bodies, creating a visual image where people feel represented.
