This is a blessing ceremony in Matsuyama City, Japan with a history of 400 years. Each sedan weighs about 700 kilograms, and more than 100 sedan bearers work together to carry the sedan. And shake the sedan chair up and down, left and right, to wake up the angels in the sedan chair and pray for a good harvest and prosperous business.

I am most enthusiastic about performance art photography. In my eyes, everyone has his or her uniqueness and holiness. I like to wipe away the enduring dust accumulated on souls and make them shine, to reveal the depth of their hearts, their natures as pure and clear as children’s. Everyone of us is a trace of dust in the universe, and everyone eventually will have their moment to be seen. I witness the unique holy light of people in this world. In each and every life, no matter noble or humble, we can discern beauty and greatness.
