Sherlock is our cat's name. He is not just a pet, he is a friend, a member of the family. One day he didn't come back home. I used my self-portrait in the style of old Hollywood films and a photo of Sherlock to express my feelings though photography. Words can not help. I think many bereaved pet owners would understand that. I cannot distinguish where I end and where Sherlock begins. He has become a part of me. He changed me. I am grateful to him with all my heart for being in our live. He taught me to love and care. Now I am learning to let him go. Our pets are our grrat teachers. Thank you.

Was born near the White Sea, in December 1983. Grew up near the Baltic Sea, also used to live near the Black Sea. Since 2021 live in France. Studied philosophy, public relations and tourism at universities. Also studied various trainings and master classes in psychology, Art history, photography. Since 2022, Anna uses photography to express her ideas, thoughts and to communicate with the world without words, as well as for self-discovery. She also likes to use old manual lenses, to experiment and combine digital photography, analog photography, painting, etc.
