On a 7am flight from NYC to Florida to memorialize my father, I was mesmerized by the sunrise & had to remind myself to press the shutter. At first there was an abundance of black and gold reminding me of contemporary abstract painting. The curved gold lines on the bottom half are the rivers and tributaries reflecting the gold from the sun. The sky changed as we moved though the air and at times Martian looking and at times biblical. At other times other times I thought of existentialism expressed in the The Sheltering Sky. Bereavement can offer moments of visual clarity.

"My fine art practice, influenced by surrealism, conceptual art and psychoanalysis is based on a lifelong respect and passion for photography. Now, I train AI models exclusively on my photographic archives to push the limits of pictorial plasticity while continuing my traditional digital photography practice simultaneously. I brought back a renewed sense of adventure to my 35mm digital photography.
