Autumn Surprise

A leaf from a Sugar Maple tree was photographed during a walk through the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in late September. Near its bottom, the leaf is secured by two small tabs of tree bark. Did someone position this leaf by hand? We will never know.

I have loved the art of photography since discovering, as a young teen, the wonders of my father's Pentax Spotmatic. I enjoy traveling to capture interesting images of landscapes and the natural world.
