She came out of the ocean like some ancient goddess of the sea. Even larger than her great size was her joy of being by the water, and suddenly she began to dance.

I am a native New Yorker, an audio editor, and the author of three non-fiction books, one of which, The Cowboy Catalog, became a best-seller. I have a degree in French Literature and Journalism from New York University, but my greatest teacher has been New York City itself. Exiled now to Washington, DC, my mind and heart still run on New York time. That means I love drama, action, noise, the off-beat and outspoken, the theatre of the street.
