The Colors of Winter

Most people assume that photography in the far north, under the deep snow, is devoid of color. While that can be true, it is not always. The white snow creates a canvas that can be painted with vibrant colors of sunrise or sunset. A beautiful sunrise can also bring out the vibrant colors of the landscape. Sometimes subtle, sometimes vibrant, the colors are always magical in the wintertime.
