This project is in memory of one of my closest friends who passed away suddenly,one year ago.These self-portraits are inspired by 3 different songs by the band The Cure,(Disintegration,Cold,The Drowning Man),a band he loved.Through the modifications made manually once the photos have been printed (ripped,frozen and painted),I represented a different manifestation of the enormous grief I feel thinking of his loss:my personality that disintegrates and the lack of a part of me;feeling immobile and desperate,frozen in pain;to be completely covered in a swirl of emotions that drown me.
