The connection between memory, matter and image can be profound. The images we store in our memory can influence our perception of matter, revealing nuances and details that we would not otherwise have noticed. I tried to translate into this project in progress my personal experience: what remains after a loss of loved ones? I explore how fleeting and seemingly insignificant images can recall the blurred memory of important persons in my life, now lost. The memory of those who are now absent is mixed in a stream of faded and disordered images, like pieces of a puzzle left in bulk inside a box.
