The annual pilgrimage festival in Bangladesh is second to the Great Pilgrimage to Mecca. This year (2024), I was lucky enough to go and experience its grand event in person. More than 3 million believers flocked to the temple from all over the country, and collective devout worship can be seen everywhere. After the festival was over, the train station was crowded with people returning home. They tried their best to perform actions such as climbing, jumping, and drilling. This series of works, through the lens, recorded the moments of local religious ,culture and activities.
