Sacred and Unseen, presents a compelling portrait series that captures the dichotomy of pride and fragility within the Hijra community in Pakistan. The subjects are often depicted in traditional feminine attire, yet a distinct "otherness" permeates, marked by the subtle interplay of masculinity. This duality is central to their identity, representing a unique blend of gender expressions that defy conventional norms.Artistic approach interweaves the portraits with the textiles adorning her subjects, creating a symbolic layer that serves as both a veil of protection and an emblem of invisibility.
