In this work, the grandmother, who is unique to me, is symbolized by a pasqueflower, while the grandson (myself), one of many grandchildren, is poetically and lyrically represented by clover, which is commonly found in rural areas. Having been raised by maternal relatives, most of my memories are of my "maternal home," which serves as a place of rest inmy life. This series of photographs captures the process of two different lives and routines merging and transforming as a 30-something grandson spends three weeks in the 80-something grandmother's space.

My name is Minseung Kim, and I work with analog film (35mm and 120mm) to create black and white or color photographs based on personal experiences and moments. I capture images on film and develop them in the darkroom. My work focuses primarily on themes related to childhood memories, often exploring settings like rural areas, playgrounds, and summer nights.
