Yearly event of a time period of festive moments reminiscent of English society. This series of images gives an overview of people, activities, events and clothing styles that one would see when going to the fair. I wanted to capture the colors, the actions and expression of this event.

My fasciantion with taking photographs began with saving enough bubble gum wrappers to redeem them for a brown box camera. My grandfather who was a photographer inspired within me his love for travel and sharing the world through the lens of his camera. I was smitten. The first items in my travel bags were the camera and film. I dreamed about traveling to far away places, experiencing different cultures, seeing the art, landscape and animals, recording all it in the form of a lasting memory called photographs.
