The beach of St. Peter Ording at the North Sea Coast in Germany is well known and appreciated by many people. Usually it is a very busy place - unless you visit it very early in the morning. Without any other visitors this very vast beach can sometimes convey the feeling of being in the desert. Depending on the angle of view, the scene sometimes appears surreal.

I am a self taught photographer with passion for minimalistic coastal and seascape photography. Most of my pictures are taken where I live - in Northern Germany, between the North and the Baltic Sea.
