I was at my local beach on a dank and foggy afternoon. A flock of starlings was coming and going, looking for insects on the washed-up seaweed, and I thought that as the light was so poor it might be fun to experiment with some slower shutter speeds in order to highlight the delicacy of the birds' flight. This was the shot that I liked the best.
