Inspired by the rhythm of the wooden pegs, I took this series at a mountain lake in the Alps. Slightly structured waves cover them and reveal an unsophisticated and minimalistic charm of natural and human-made structures, patterns and lines – A little melody played by silence.

I’m a German architect and amateur photographer based in France. Influenced by clear and reduced architecture, bright spaces and simple forms, I feel attracted by pure and minimalist landscape and floral captures. For me photography is the research to reduce the subject to its minimum, its so called essence.
