Gilpin, an artist and photographer, collaborates with his muse to create unique, original works, believing the artist muse interaction is a singular moment. Using natural light and colour, he favours shadows and illumination to highlight features, likening his process to painting. As a dyslexic, words have always failed him. He expresses himself through color, light, lines, and imagery, as they allow him to communicate what words cannot. He finds it incredibly challenging to feel trapped inside, unable to articulate his thoughts.
