How fragile love can be. This was the philosophy of thinking when I went to create this image. Using the 'painting with light' technique (long exposures combined with specialized flashlights)I had to carefully envizion the word to "draw" in the correct spacing to the lens frame. Was no easy feat as I had to do this all dressed in black in complete darkness with only 30 seconds to make the magic. I was astounded on how the glass vase appeared from the back lighting of my source.
Hillary Greene-Pae is a practicing clinical psychotherapist and real estate investor. Her interest in photography began when she was a graduate student at UC Berkeley. During her semi-retirement she now has time to pursue her real passion. She enjoys capturing candid moments as well as both being an observer and participant in the process.
