During a flight from Beijing to Frankfurt I captured this scene. I was fascinated by the braided rivers, with all its little tributaries, bending through the mountain range, leaving behind the precious sediments and water. It is like a painting, but to emphasize it even more I converted it to black and white, so the rivers and mountains became much more prominent and the whole picture came to life.
