After scouting the night before, this photo shoot started before the morning's first light. It was dark and strange to be there alone. I knew the leaves were in full color, but hoped for the morning mist off the lake. I waited and enjoyed the unbelievable nature I was experiencing. While it took some planning, how lucky was I to see and capture this spectacular fall scene, with the morning light, the lavender skies, and a vibrant autumn palette? This was one autumn morn in Vermont.
