A serene autumnal setting in the Upper Engadine, Switzerland. While waiting on the wind to calm down again and the lake's surface to create an almost perfect reflection there was also time for self-reflection and self-awareness. And then suddenly there was a rush as two stand up paddlers are approaching from the right and very soon entering the scene. So it's now or never, make the shot!
Born in 1979, I am an amateur photographer living in Switzerland in the surroundings of Zurich. In my spare time and when travelling I take joy in doing photography. Although I generally do not consider myself a very patient person, making pictures is often relaxing and calming and I can easily spend an hour or two in the same spot taking it all in, finding compositions, refining a composition and waiting for the light. I focus on landscape and cityscape photography. For quite some time now I feel myself more and more drawn to landscapes – where I am trying to find my masterpiece shot. ;-)
