An Autumn Morning at the Lake

A late morning scene at a mountain lake in Graubünden, Switzerland. The sun finally rose above the surrounding mountain ridges casting light onto the larches and making them glow in golden yellow.

Born in 1979, I am an amateur photographer living in Switzerland in the surroundings of Zurich. In my spare time and when travelling I take joy in doing photography. Although I generally do not consider myself a very patient person, making pictures is often relaxing and calming and I can easily spend an hour or two in the same spot taking it all in, finding compositions, refining a composition and waiting for the light. I focus on landscape and cityscape photography. For quite some time now I feel myself more and more drawn to landscapes – where I am trying to find my masterpiece shot. ;-)
