Captured on a remote sand dune in southern Socotra after a long day of travel, this image reveals the beauty of patience. Winds lifted sand particles into the air, creating a golden glow under the setting sun. I waited for the wind to calm, allowing the sand’s fine details to emerge. Just as I was about to shoot, a small group of camels crossed under the sun, adding a surprising element to the composition. This moment, shaped by nature’s rhythm and light, became a serene, golden memory etched in the sands.
