“Ji Tong” In “Nanzhou God-Welcoming Ceremony”

“Ji Tong” means Taoist spirit medium or Taoist shaman in Chinese. They were possessed by gods to convey God's message. They are one of import part during the Nanzhou God-Welcoming Ceremony. They would hit themselves with long sticks or balls with needles to show the power of the gods.
