Every year during the Lantern Festival in Taiwan, in order to show respect to the Lord of the Earth, people will welcome him with a large number of firecrackers when the mikoshi passes through their homes. People were not afraid of the bombardment of firecrackers and concentrated on carrying sedans to guide the earth god to everyone's home to pray for blessings.
