The inspiration for this project stems from my scoliosis – when I learned that it worsened over time, I grew hyper aware of the objects in my surroundings. It became natural to me to notice curves within everything I cross paths with, especially when I get in touch with nature. Stepping into the botanical garden, I encounter curved branches and meandering streams. Here, the relationship between my spine and myself is projected and magnified in the natural world. These natural or artificially formed curvatures become akin to my second spine, intricately entwined with my being.
