On an early summer evening, I took a stroll through the streets of Kyoto, observing the unfamiliar life so different from the one I know. The atmosphere invited me to absorb everything around me: Taking in the smells, the sounds, the light, the people, and their habits fascinate me, and I let myself wander, fully absorbed by the unknown. On my way back to the hotel, I noticed this small shop. An incredible calm emanated from this place, and the lighting intrigued me. It was a moment of pause after work, at the end of a completed day, where everyone winds down and lets the day come to an end.
