This photograph was taken in Asakusa, a traditional district of Tokyo, during sunset. I captured this moment as the sun’s light perfectly aligned with the scene, highlighting a rare sight—a woman riding an adult tricycle. The rim light around her figure and the shadows cast by the tricycle create a striking contrast, which I found especially beautiful. I am passionate about monochrome photography, and this piece represents my pursuit of high-contrast imagery and a fresh approach to street photography.
