From a scientific point of view, the Northern Lights are the light emitted by electrons produced by atoms and molecules in the atmosphere affected by the rapid movement of solar winds emitted by solar storms. There are auroras all over Iceland from September to March of the following year, from 11 pm to 2 am the next morning, sometimes longer and sometimes shorter. When the Northern Lights appear in the sky, the light will be reflected on the mountains and on the water of the fjords. The sky, water and mountains will present a gorgeous feast of colors, which is amazing.
