Along the busy Nakamise-dori street to the Sensoji Temple, my analog camera was mounted directly in front of my body and the shutter was open from the beginning until I reached the temple. Every moment, every movement and every ray of light received was captured on film in an uninterrupted flow, the sum of all details on the way to the temple preserved in a single image. Acceleration, deceleration, standstill and coincidence determine the degree of abstraction. The photographs are exposed on slide film by an analogue camera and scanned in high quality, but not digitally manipulated!
